Catie was always interested in percussion from her early days of listening to music. She loved prog rock and Phil Collins in Genesis was a big influence on her life. Strangely she was never encouraged to play drums as a child and only started once she left college and a friend has a Bodhrán at home. Intrigued she decided to get a cheap one to learn on and the rest is history!
Catie has appeared with a number of bands and artists over the years - most notably, Maghera, Dancing Ledge, Miro's Delight (Miros), State of Undress, Solar-Powered Lunatics, Captain Crackers and the Curiosities.
